Description
The parish church of Saint Leonard, already mentioned in fourteenth century documents, is located inside the village of Tazzo.
The interior is completely renovated, but it preserves an Our Lady of Suffrage with the Saints Leonard and Luke, an altarpiece from the XVII century and a painting with Our Lady and Saints by Biagio Puccini, partially repainted. Amongst the frescoes, worth to be noticed is Our Lady of the Carmine from XVI century. A ciborium with doors paintings dated 1570. It was formerly property of Benedictines who here established a monastic cell.
